We are seeking an experienced Concrete Former to join our team. This is a hands-on field position focused on building and preparing concrete forms for high-quality exterior concrete installations.
The successful candidate will work closely with crew leads and site teams to ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard of workmanship. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, works well as part of a crew, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Construct, install, align, and remove concrete forms for exterior concrete projects- Measure, mark, and prepare formwork to ensure accuracy and quality - Perform forming work for projects including flatwork, patios, curbs, walls, ramps, stairs, and related site improvements- Set elevations and maintain proper dimensions and alignment throughout installation- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently- Identify issues proactively and communicate concerns to site leadership- Minimum 2–3+ years of concrete forming or concrete construction experience preferred- Experience with flatwork, curbs, paving, walls, ramps, stairs, and site concrete projects is considered an asset- Knowledge of grades, elevations, measurements, and form alignment- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a teamNote that we offer competitive wages, pension and benefits including dental, vision, etc.
