But all the questionable club music might provide a bit of a push to get Cardi B back into the music game.
That said, not just any rap will do, Cardi B maintains in the post, suggesting that some of her co-artists are consuming too many drugs — lean and marijuana, specifically — and not valuing what they’ve got. “They get money and they start buying too much mutha******’ weed, and too much lean and they make that slow sh*t,” she adds.
Since dropping her one and only studio album back in 2018, Invasion of Privacy, the rapper has had plenty of things on the go, including becoming a mother. /ruminating on her 15-year-old self apparently smoking a cigarette. “Dear little girls don’t smoke cigarettes or weed trying to look cool for the seniors cause you really gonna grow up and see how dumb you look doing it,” she posted at the time.
And though Cardi B doesn’t say if she partook when COVID-19 first shut things down, she did tweet last year that her husband, Offset,As for now, taking it slow in the clubs is not what people want to hear, Cardi B contends. And it’s not something she would put out herself, she assures.
