Beers & Burgers: Harvey's To Go | SaltWire #harveys #burger #beer #foodbloggerMatthew Cooper isn’t new to the stage, having competed in music competitions such as the Kiwanis Music Festival and being the inaugural winner of the Sing NL competition in 2017 but being a contestant on Canada’s Got Talent is a whole different ball game.

Cooper started taking singing lessons in Carbonear, his hometown, when he was 11 and hasn’t stopped pursuing his dream since. He completed a music degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador and, like many from the province before him, moved to Alberta, but unlike most NLers, not to work in the oil industry.

He did seize it, and in March his first Canada’s Got Talent performance aired, in which he got the votes to bring him to the semi-finals. From here, Cooper has a chance to make it to the finals and compete for a $1 million prize.2. Where and when were you born and where do you live today?3. What is one thing you would like people to know about you?

Definitely"The Little Mermaid". Ever since I was a kid,"The Little Mermaid" was always my favourite. To see to remain.11. How do you like to relax?
