On March 7, 2024, between the hours of midnight and 5:40 A.M., several cars were broken into in the area near the golf course off of Beverly Jeffries Hwy in Citronelle. During this time one vehicle's window was broken to make entry and the other vehicles that were burglarized, no force entry was made. Several items were removed from the vehicle, including credit cards.
The stolen credit cards were used at two gas stations in Prichard, AL. and video surveillance captured a male subject purchasing items with the stolen credit card. The stolen credit cards were also used at a Family Dollar in Biloxi, MS and at a Big Lots in D'Iberville, MS. Attached are the photos of the suspects using the stolen credit cards.
Also attached is the photograph of a suspect, who is wanted for questioning in reference to the vehicle burglaries. Xavier Shepard, currently holds active warrants with the Department of Corrections and is a suspect in yesterday's burglaries and for several vehicle burglaries that occurred in February in the area of Lebaron Ave. If anyone has information of Shepard's location, they are asked to contact the Citronelle Police Department.
