The Sydney Mitsubishi Rush and Cape Breton West Islanders will play in the under-18 major division, while the Cape Breton Jets and Port Hawkesbury-based Cabot Highlanders will compete in the under-16 'AAA' tournament. The North Sydney-based Joneljim Cougars will be in the under-15 major division. Cape Breton West will kick off the event on Thursday at 3 p.m. against the Moncton Flyers before facing the Pinnacle Growlers of Newfoundland and Labrador later in the day at 9 p.m. The club will wrap up the round robin on Friday at 5 p.m. against the Charlottetown Knights. All games at HRM 4-Pad.
Cabot will open the tournament on Thursday at 11 a.m. against the Valley Wildcats. The team will also play on Friday at 8:30 a.m. against the Saint John Knights and 12:30 p.m. against the Moncton Thunderbirds. All games at the East Hants Sportsplex.
