SYDNEY, N.S. – Five Cape Breton hockey teams will be on the road this week to participate in the annual Monctonian Challenge tournament in Moncton. The Sydney Mitsubishi Rush and Cape Breton West Islanders will be in the under-18 division, while the Cape Breton Jets and Cabot Highlanders will be in the under-16 category. Cape Breton West will open the tournament today at 3:30 p.m. against the Pinnacle Growlers of Newfoundland before playing the College Claretain Graal of Victoriaville, Que., on Friday at 12 p.m. The team will finish the round robin on Saturday against the Saint John Vitos of New Brunswick.As for Sydney, they will play tonight at 9 p.m. against the Seminaire St-Joseph Vert et Or of Trois-Rivières, Que., before battling the Halifax McDonalds on Friday at 1:45 p.m.
