SYDNEY — The Cape Breton Eagles will wrap up their mini two-game homestand on Sunday when they host the Charlottetown Islanders at Centre 200 in Sydney.

The Eagles returned home following a three-game Maritime road trip, which saw the team post a 2-1 record, on Friday night when they welcomed the Rimouski Océanic to Cape Breton. The score result was not available but a recap of the game is online at www.saltwire.com/cape-breton.

Cape Breton and Charlottetown last played on Dec. 3 in P.E.I. with the Islanders defeating the Eagles 5-1. The Eagles are led offensively by Czech Republic product Ivan Ivan with 20 goals and 54 points in 43 games, while Johnson has 24 goals and 52 points in 46 games and Cam Squires has notched 16 goals and 41 points in 45 games. Statistics do not include Friday's game.

While Oliver Satny and Nicolas Ruccia hold down the crease for the Eagles, the Islanders' goaltending tandem features overager Jakob Robillard and Dixon Grimes, son of former Cape Breton head coach Jake Grimes. Robillard has 13 wins on the year, while Grimes is seeking his first in the QMJHL.
