Not that one! The Canucks have faked out their fans and signed a nifty player.
Pettersson is a 19-year-old, left-handed shot with 60 games of regular season experience in the Swedish top-flight for Orebro HK.
Allvin was happy to have signed the younger Petterson, who the Canucks selected in the third round of the 2022 draft, all the same. Allvin and Vancouver have a critical first full season under the guidance of Rick Tocchet ahead of them in 2023-2024.
