“You realize how fast the game is,” said Baertschi, who was held without a shot in 16:48 of ice time Sunday in a 5-0 loss to Columbus. “My timing was off and I was stripped twice from behind. And getting your head up right away when you’ve got the puck, there were a lot of things to get used to right away. Missing that many games isn’t easy and I just want to regain my confidence.”
