CALGARY – The Vancouver Canucks close out the 2019 portion of their schedule with a huge Pacific Division showdown against the Calgary Flames tonight at Scotiabank Saddledome. The Canucks are looking to establish a season-high for consecutive wins after winning their fourth straight with a 3-2 victory over the Los Angeles Kings last night at Rogers Arena.
It’s possibly, though, that Jordie Benn could return to the line-up on defense after being a healthy scratch the past two contests. The road has not been kind to the Canucks since the beginning of November. After a 5-2 win in San Jose on November 2, the team was 5-3-1 in its first nine games away from home. Since then, however, the Canucks are 3-7 in their last nine on the road and 1-4 in their last five. They have surrendered 41 goals in their last 10 games as the visitors.
