The Canucks face the Seattle Kraken at home on Thursday night and would normally take a charter flight to Edmonton post-game before returning to Vancouver after the game on Friday night.With a snowstorm expected to hit the Buffalo area before a scheduled Friday night game between the Sabres and the Tampa Bay Lightning, the NHL on Wednesday postponed the game. The game is rescheduled to March 4.
The NHL could postpone the Friday night Canucks game in Edmonton in light of weather conditions expected in the coming days.“We are monitoring the situation and will work with NHL is something needs to be done,” Canucks director of communications Craig MacEwen said.
