Linden and Marshall Erwin got a signed hockey stick and jersey from Canucks captain Bo Horvat — delivered by Canucks goaltending legend Kirk McLean and team mascot Fin, the killer whale.

The Vancouver Canucks gave a young fan the surprise of a lifetime Wednesday in the driveway of his Nanaimo home.

Horvat noticed the sign and gave the brothers his personalized hockey stick, with his name in small silver letters on the shaft, as well as the number 53 on the grip.. The stick was lost in transit, heartbreaking news for the brothers, which prompted the parents to reach out to the Canucks in hopes of a replacement.Horvat promised another, just as Flair Airlines said it had recovered the stick and sent it to Nanaimo.
