Prior to beginning his professional career, Beauvillier spent three seasons with the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL, leading the team in scoring in his second season and points-per-game in his final junior season. Beauvillier was originally selected by the Islanders in the first round, 28th overall at the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Raty was originally selected by the Islanders in the second round, 52nd overall at the 2021 NHL Entry Draft.
