This student can’t blame a consultant for submitting a bogus college admission letter, a tribunal hears

Amritraj Singh Batth, 25, is one of several international students from India fighting to stay in Canada after applying for a student visa through the same agent. The uphill battle against deportation comes after their admission letters for post-secondary institutions were found to be bogus. Advocates have said that it’s the students who are victims, finding out only years after the fact that there was an issue with their documentation.

Here’s why Energy Minister Todd Smith says the new program is “a win for customers, a win for the climate and a win for the province.”“To be clear: participants are always in control and can opt-out by adjusting their thermostat without losing incentives,” Smith said.
