PARIS — Canadian sprint canoeists Katie Vincent and Sloan MacKenzie will race for gold after finishing first in a women’s doubles 500-metre semifinal Friday.
The Canadian duo took an early lead before Daniela Cociu and Maria Olarasu of Moldova temporarily pulled ahead in the tightly contested race where several boats battled for top of the field.
