Nissan, Hyundai, General Motors and Fiat Chrysler have issued safety recalls for various concerns that could directly or indirectly cause harm to drivers and or their occupants. Reason for recall: driver-front airbag inflator could rupture when the airbag deploys in a crash. If this happens, the airbag may not properly inflate and fragments could be launched at occupants causing injury or death.
Hyundai will notify owners by mail to visit a dealership to inspect the vehicle and if necessary, the dealer will install a fuse and a wire extension kit. The UK-based automobile maker will let owners know by mail if their vehicle is at risk, or vehicle owners could contact a local dealership for further information.
