‘Who can take on Trump’ is the wrong question. ‘Who can make Canada resilient to him’ is the right one It’s not simply about who can best negotiate with Mr. Trump, but who is brave enough to make the foundational changes to the way this country operates, so we’re never again as vulnerable as we are today.Of course, that prime minister will almost immediately have to go through a general election campaign that will be a lot rougher. As it stands now, the Liberals will pick a captain who hasn’t played in that kind of game.
