Watch live: The Junos announce the nominees for the 2023 ceremony in Edmonton
Join us as we announce The 2023 JUNO Award nominees on Tuesday, January 31 at 11 a.m. ET, hosted by Angeline Tetteh-Wayoe . The 2023 JUNO Awards, hosted by Simu Liu, will broadcast and stream live on Monday, March 13 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBC Radio One, CBC Music, CBC Listen, and globally at CBCMusic.ca/junosPreviously announced performers include Calgary pop singer Tate McRae, Nashville-based Alberta singer Tenille Townes and Punjabi-Canadian viral sensation AP Dhillon.
Also performing on the broadcast is rock act Nickelback, who will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. On Monday, ahead of the nominations ceremony, Junos organizers revealed the rap album or EP of the year contenders. They include Vancouver’s Boslen, Halifax-based Classified, and three Toronto rappers, Jazz Cartier, Nav and Tobi.
