🇨🇦 Jennifer Abel will compete for a second Tokyo2020 medal after qualifying for the women's 3m springboard final.
Canada's Jennifer Abel finished in third place in the semifinals of the women's three-metre springboard diving on Saturday and will move on to the final round at the Tokyo Olympics.
Abel capped off Saturday's round with a score of 341.40, trailing only China's Shi Tingmao and Wang Han .The 29-year-old Abel already has a medal in the Tokyo Games, earning silver in the women's synchronized three-metre springboard event with partner Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu.A native of Montreal, Abel won bronze in the individual three-metre springboard at the London Games in 2012 and finished fourth in Rio 2016.
Abel's fellow Quebec native Pamela Ware failed to move on to the final, posting a score of 245.10 and finishing in 18th place on Saturday.
