With reports suggesting the Ottawa Senators are beginning the process of selling the team, Canadian actor Ryan Reynolds, best known for his starring role in “Deadpool,” is “very interested” in buying the team with the intention of keeping it in Ottawa.
Reynolds did not answer People’s request for comment following the report, but he did offer a reaction to the Senators news on social media. When a Twitter user mentioned to him that the team was for sale, he replied with the thinking emoji.
The Vancouver native is no stranger to owning sports franchises. In 2020, he and fellow actor Rob McElhenney
