A senior government source said the processing of Labour Market Impact Assessment applications will be suspended for six months, starting on Sept. 3, for job offers with wages below $27.47 per hour — currently Quebec's median hourly wage.Premier François Legault and Quebec Immigration Minister Christine Fréchette are scheduled to make an announcement about the temporary foreign worker program at 10 a.m.
