Canadian Sudarshan Yellamaraju, 23, wins The Bahamas Great Abaco Classic by five shots

“It feels great. It feels good that the hard work and all the hours I’ve put in, me and my parents, has paid off,” Yellamaraju told reporters in the Bahamas. Golf Canada men’s national team head coach Derek Ingram describes Yellamaraju’s game as “really consistent” from tee to green. Coupled with a solid short game, a deep passion for golf, and a “tremendous work ethic,” Ingram believes Yellamaraju has the makings of another Canadian PGA Tour star.
Yellamaraju didn’t miss a green or fairway in his tidy final-round effort, going five-under on his first nine holes before settling into a groove and bringing the trophy home.
