Canada's Leylah Fernandez is out of the French Open. The No. 17 seed lost 6-2, 6-7 (3), 6-3 to unseeded Italian Martina Trevisan in the women's quarterfinals on Tuesday.

While her movement clearly was affected, Fernandez fought off a match point in the second set before taking the tiebreaker.
Fernandez then fell behind 4-0 in the third set, but once again battled back before Trevisan finally won on her third chance to serve out the match.More to come...
