Canada picks Damian Warner as flag bearer for the Tokyo 2020 closing ceremonies TokyoTakeTwo Tokyo2020 TeamCanada Olympics
Warner, the 31-year-old from London, Ont., will lead Team Canada into Sunday’s closing ceremonies in Japan.
“And I think with the flag-bearer, it shouldn’t be just based off the results,” he continued later. “There are some people over the years or over their lives who probably overcame great obstacles, and it could be anybody on this team that could be in my position.
