Team Canada’s Maggie Mac Neil, Taylor Ruck, Penny Oleksiak, and Summer McIntosh take fourth place; Australia brings home gold

Minutes after she stood on the podium McIntosh got back on the starting blocks to swim the third leg for Canada. But it was not enough against several of the top relay squads in the world. Oleksiak was looking to make history in the race by boosting her record medal count. Canada’s most-decorated Olympian entered the event with seven medals, a mark she set three years ago at the Tokyo Summer Games.
