The Canadian men's national soccer team maintained its career-high ranking of 31st in the FIFA world rankings for December 2024. The rankings, released Thursday, saw little movement overall, with only 21 men's international matches played since the November 28th edition. Canada 's ranking remained unchanged despite their strong performance in the CONCACAF Nations League, where they defeated Suriname to advance to the semifinals.
Argentina continues to lead the rankings, followed by France, Spain, England, and Brazil. Canada is ranked third in CONCACAF, behind the United States (16th) and Mexico (19th). The Canadian men will face Mexico in the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals in March
