A new federal study reveals a critical shortage of healthcare workers in Canada, with a dire need for nearly 23,000 family physicians and tens of thousands more nurses, therapists, and pharmacists. The report warns that the situation will worsen without immediate action.

Canada needs tens of thousands of additional health care workers, including nearly 23,000 family physicians, says a new federal study that predicts the situation will only worsen in the next decade if action is not taken.
