Get ready to celebrate Canada Day on Vancouver Island — there'll be everything from bouncy castles to fireworks.
The city has a lot planned for the day, jam-packing the six-hour schedule with over 20 different events. Residents can expect to find everything from live music to a fire obstacle course.from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A lineup of food trucks, face painting and live entertainment are all in store for those living up Island. Additionally, the city will be offering a free bike valet and free transit to the event.There will be the Rotary Parade taking place at 4 p.m., as well as the fireworks at 10:22 p.
