Third-seeded UBC will host No. 6 Saskatchewan in the other quarterfinal, while Alberta earned the other first-round bye.The Cougars wrapped up their regular season by dropping a 3-1 decision to Saskatchewan at FCA on Saturday.The Cougars finished third and clinched a home quarterfinal series. They will open the playoffs by hosting the sixth-seeded Trinity Western Spartans this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at FCA. All games will start at 7 p.m.
The third-seeded Dinos will host a quarterfinal on Saturday against the winner of the play-in game on Friday at the Jack between the 11th-seeded Cougars and No. 6 Winnipeg Wesmen . Mason Foreman led Calgary with 26 points, Ezeoha Santiago added 19, Spencer Roberts had 17 and Manyang Tong chipped in with 12.
