A new storm system tracking into California will produce damaging winds, soaking rain and more feet of Sierra snow early this week.Rain and mountain snow showers could affect California at times today, but the bulk of the state should be dry.The next stronger storm will arrive on Tuesday and then linger into at least early Wednesday. This will be accompanied by an atmospheric river of moisture, especially in central and southern parts of the state.
Current indications are that the southern half of the state will have greatest risk of possible flooding and debris flows based on recent rainfall. Much of the state with receive over an inch of rainfall.
