On Wednesday, Shaquille Richardson became the latest player to return to the Calgary Stampeders after a stint elsewhere.

The only question, really, is where he’s going to play for the Stamps.

In his first stint with the team, Richardson played mostly at the SAM spot, although he did move around a bit. He has played both half-back and corner at times in the CFL, too — he may have had a game or two at safety, although that’s hard to verify.Article content “I don’t know if he’ll be ready to play this week, but he showed up and said he can play, so we’ll see what happens.”

Given the time he spent with the Boatmen, he’d love the opportunity to play against many of the teammates with whom he won a Grey Cup last year.
