Officers were canvassing the area for CCTV footage or witnesses with more information about the incident into Saturday afternoon. No arrests had been made by 2 p.m. A neighbour said her dog started barking when a gunshot was fired nearby. She looked outside to see someone run into the backyard.Investigators were busy with a similar case earlier Saturday morning.
According to police, officers were called to the 100 block of Taradale Close N.E. for reports that a gunshot was fired. Investigators believe the suspect went to the home of someone they were having a dispute with and a shot was fired.
