ICYMI: Calgary police ask for public's help in search for missing woman and child yyc
According to police, 20-year-old Betty Bruno and her two-year-old daughter, Abyanna, travelled from Edmonton to Calgary a week ago in preparation for Bruno to begin post-secondary classes in the city. The situation doesn’t meet the threshold for an Amber Alert, though police said they’re working with their partners at the Missing Children Society of Canada to locate Abyanna. Police describe Bruno as 5’6’’ tall, 103 pounds, with a slim build, brown hair and brown eyes. The child, Abyanna, is described as 3’ tall, 28 pounds, with a slim build, light brown hair and brown eyes.
