A section of Calgary’s busy 17 Avenue S.W. was closed off by police in front of a bank Friday morning.
One man is in custody and facing charges in connection with “disturbance” at a CIBC location on the busy stretch of Calgary road. “We are currently on scene responding to reports of a disturbance at the CIBC bank located at 1222 17 Ave. S.W.”at around 11:30 a.m. “We are asking people to please avoid the area until further notice.”EMS confirms no reports of injuries
