A troubling string of serious collisions involving pedestrians continued on Friday after a person was struck at a downtown Calgary intersection.
Calgary police say a pedestrian was rushed to hospital in critical condition Friday morning after being struck by a vehicle at a busy downtown intersection.
Officers were called to the scene around 9:45 a.m. after receiving reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at 6th Avenue and 4th Street S.E.The intersection at 6th Avenue & 4th Street S.E. is closed due to a traffic incident. Traffic delays are expected in the area.
