On the second day of the Alberta election campaign, Artur Pawlowski was found guilty for his role in inciting protesters at the Coutts border blockade.
Edmonton—It was a ruling that was always going to cast a shadow over UCP LeaderOn the second day of the Alberta election campaign, a judge ruled that a Calgary street pastor who tried to have the Alberta premier intervene in his criminal proceedings was guilty of mischief in relation to a COVID blockade.
Crown prosecutors had argued that a speech Pawlowski gave to protesters incited them to continue disrupting the border. Pawlowski had pleaded not guilty. Notley, meanwhile, attended two events, one in Calgary and one in Red Deer, where she spoke about health-care issues and took questions from reporters.
“I don’t care if it’s today, if it was a month ago when she claimed she was going to sue people , or two weeks from now. Pawlowski saw a helping hand in Smith as she ascended to the premier’s office through winning the UCP leadership race in October.
