The Flames surged in front 2-0 three minutes later when Lomberg corralled a MacKenzie Weegar rebound in the slot and fired a shot just inside the goalpost. This will be the 20-year-old’s first season in North America and with three points in three games in the pre-season, he’s making a push for a job with the Canucks.
