Hunt has 202 nights of NHL experience but has yet to don the Flaming C logo. After arriving in a swap with the Toronto Maple Leafs, he skated for the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign with the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers. Pospisil, the lone restricted free agent on this list, has intriguing upside. Trouble is, the 23-year-old winger has struggled to stay healthy in four pro seasons. He was limited to 20 appearances this past winter.

Poolman, 27, has been a dependable defenceman and popular teammate in the AHL. Like Pospisil, he is still working toward his first call-up.
