Dansk spent the 2022–23 season as Dustin Wolf’s backup with the AHL’s Calgary Wranglers.
The Calgary Flames have re-signed goaltender Oscar Dansk to a one-year, two-way contract, the club announced Tuesday morning.
This is Craig Conroy’s first signing as the Flames’ new general manager. Dansk’s new deal carries a $775,000 cap hit in the NHL; the terms of his AHL compensation have yet to be reported. Dansk signed with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2017 and quickly established himself as a promising young goaltender in the AHL. He appeared in four NHL games during the 2017–18 season as Vegas dealt with a rash of injuries at the goaltending position.
