When asked about the possibility of keeping the pool open after the MNP centre is fully functioning, Chabot wasn't sure. He added if Inglewood residents did succeed in convincing council to build a new facility on the land, it would likely take the form of a rec centre that also has a pool.Fiona McKenzie, an Inglewood resident and organizer of several rallies to keep the pool open, said she is thrilled that council changed its mind about closing it down in December.
