Maye throws three TDs, two INTs, and is sacked four times in debut

Dameon Pierce ripped off a 54-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter and finished with 76 yards on eight carries. Will Anderson Jr. recorded three sacks for Houston, which has won three straight. After sacking No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams seven times in a win over Chicago last week, Houston wasted little time in making Maye feel uncomfortable. The Patriots went three-and-out on their first possession, and on their next series, Maye overthrew his intended target and was intercepted by Calen Bullock – one of four turnovers by New England, which has lost five straight and fell to 0-3 at home this season.
Maye gave the Patriots fans who stuck around one more reason to cheer when he connected with DeMario Douglas for a 35-yard TD in the fourth quarter.
