In a statement out Friday, Brigham Young University says it 'reached out to more than 50 individuals who attended the event' as part of the investigation, and reviewed all available video and audio recordings.

The university continued their statement ensuring they were thorough during the investigation process and reiterated that if anyone has evidence contrary to their findings, they are invited to come forward.

"The 18 members of the Duke University volleyball team are exceptionally strong women who represent themselves, their families, and Duke University with the utmost integrity."."We unequivocally stand with and champion them, especially when their character is called into question. Duke Athletics believes in respect, equality and inclusiveness, and we do not tolerate hate and bias.

Holmoe spoke to Richardson and head volleyball coach Jolene Nagel the day after the incident. The university also apologized to Duke and Richardson.
