The UFC now takes a welcomed respite as it turns its attention toward 2023, which offers the promise of its own twists and turns, jaw-dropping knockouts, breathtaking submissions and unexpected power shifts.on the horizon in a matter of weeks, a look at some of the numbers the Las Vegas-based company generated in 2022:Events staged by the UFC in 2022.
All told, the schedule featured 17 UFC Fight Nights, 13 numbered pay-per-views, 11 UFC on ESPNs and one UFC on ABC.Fights promoted by the UFC over the past 12 months. A total of 242 of them concluded without a true finish: 176 unanimous decisions, 53 split decisions, eight majority decisions, three draws, one no contest and one disqualification.UFC bouts ended by knockout or technical knockout in the last year, accounting for 64% of the finishes inside the Octagon.
