Brasão Brazilian Steakhouse closed for the evening Sunday, Father's Day, due to the flooding around the restaurant, according to a post on Facebook.
Target, Ross, World Market, Best Buy and Freddy's Steakburgers were without water during the repair and into Sunday night, said Gonzalez. But by opening on Monday, all businesses had regained water, she said. "Main breaks happen at a higher rate when we have hotter weather, because San Antonio sits on a majority of clay soils and they shift," explained Gonzalez."So as the weather gets drier then that shifts and puts undue strain on the infrastructure. Higher demand also creates more movement in the pipe."In the past week, SAWS has seenl, but not all due to the heat.
