LOS ANGELES — Burt Young, best known for his role as Paulie in six"Rocky" films, has died at 83 years old, his daughterYoung — an adopted stage name — had a career that included more than 160 film and television credits, many of them the gritty"tough guy" character. His credits include roles in"Chinatown,""Last Exit to Brooklyn" and"Once Upon a Time in America," and memorable appearances on shows like"M*A*S*H.
He earned an Oscar nomination for best supporting actor for his performance in the original"Rocky" movie.
