Kaleigh Fratkin and her Boston club swept its series with Montreal to advance to the Walter Cup finals.
The Burnaby defender, alongside her resilient Boston club, is set to play with for the first-ever Professional Women's Hockey League championship trophy — the Walter Cup.
Overtime was needed for the green and white to win Game 3 by a score of 3-2 and advance to the finals. The 2010 Burnaby Central Secondary grad scored the game-winning goal in Boston's final regular-season tilt on May 4, also against Montreal. The team needed to win in regulation to clinch a playoff berth.
