on much of Northeast Ohio. It will end with some bone-chilling temperatures.
It starts Thursday, with highs around 21 degrees under mostly cloudy skies and overnight lows around 12 degrees. Some snow showers are possible but don’t expect to see much accumulation. By Saturday morning, temps will be in the low single-digits in Cleveland and much of the region. However, the Akron-Canton area might wake up to temps at around minus-1. Other inland spots might see temps at minus-6 or even a bit lower, Saunders said.
Saunders said one result of this cold snap is that more ice will form along the shores of Lake Erie, which currently is mostly uncovered.
