JUST IN: Erie County District Attorney’s Office investigating incident in which two Buffalo, NY, police officers were seen on video shoving a 75-year-old protester to the ground and leaving him bleeding on the pavement. The officers have been suspended.
The man is now in stable condition at Erie County Medical Center. Buffalo police Commissioner Byron C. “The Erie County District Attorney’s Office continues to investigate the incident captured on video outside City Hall Thursday evening that resulted in the injury of protester," prosecutors said in a statement."The victim was taken to ECMC to be treated for a head injury. He was unable to provide a statement to investigators last night. We will provide an update as the investigation progresses.
