Stunning video shows Buffalo Bills stadium buried in snow — as fans work to clear players' driveways so they can make it out after NFL moves game
Buffalo Bills fans are suffering again — this time because a snowstorm buried Highmark Stadium and forced the team to change the location of Sunday's game.
On Thursday, the New York-based NFL team announced its game against the Cleveland Browns would move to Detroit due to a lake-effect snowstorm forecast,By the next day, Highmark Stadium was buried in a thick blanket of snow. The team took to social media to share evidence of the storm, and their fans — known as the Bills Mafia — weren't pleased.In addition to the field, stadium seats were piled high with snow as more continued to fall.
"This is considered very light snow in new england, we've never had to move a game cuz of snow yall bills so scary,"While some complained about the change, Buffalo residents, not unaccustomed to snow, found humor in the situation and jumped into to action.
