"The odds that this noose hate crime was real were always very small. It's just actually not a very racist country… Most of us know that,"It's vitally important to note that a noose was, in fact, found in Bubba Wallace's garage at Talladega Superspeedway. "From the evidence that we have and I have, it's a straight-up noose. . . It was a noose that was—whether tied in 2019 or whenever, it was a noose. It wasn't directed at me, but somebody tied it," said Wallace."I've been racing all my life. We've raced out of hundreds of garages that never had garage pulls like that."
